We teach fantastic tried and tested yoga practices that are useful and easy 'life tools' that you can use 'off the mat' - these really help improve your physical, mental and emotional health. Giving you an opportunity to relax and calm the mind, enables you to 'fill up' and feel nourished and supported. This means everyone leaves class feeling reconnected to themselves, grounded and ready to cope with life's challenges and stresses with much more resilience, calm and perspective.
Because we really need this! As women, as pregnant ladies, as mothers, we need time out for ourselves. We need head space. We need to process the fact we are 'pregnant' or where ever we are at with 'life's challenges and stresses' and all that brings. We need to relax. We need to do this for our mental health and emotion balance. We need to connect with others. We need to feel part of a community. We all need more support, even if our lives are full and loving, an extra layer of support goes a long way - and latest research and evidence clearly shows us that this is not only important for us, as women, but by extension, this helps us better support our families, greatly benefitting our babies and children and that this positively influences our child rearing practices, leading directly to social improvements, happier future generations and a more peaceful society at large. The power to change the world and make it a better place rests in our hands, as parents to be and parents, so lets get together and make that positive change happen over the next generation.

Uniquely, this course combines the best in yoga and meditative practices perfect for helping during birth - including specific breathing techniques, positions and movements, and mindfulness and relaxation techniques - along with detailed scientific information about the actual processes of birth and local in midwifery protocols and guidelines.
Essentially, we cover EVERYTHING you need to know to prepare for birth, including:
- How do I know labour has started?
- The stages of labour
- What is a contraction? Why is my body doing this? Techniques to cope
- The role of hormones
- Importance of the positive feedback loop
- Using the breath, yoga positions and mindfulness
- Clear explanations of possible medical interventions, and why these sometimes have a much needed place
- How to make decisions and give meaningful informed consent in the moment - and the importance of this
- Pain relief options, natural and medical
- Essential birth partner tips - what to do, when
- The early days with your newborn, what to expect
This course is designed to help both you and your birth partner understand what your body is doing when birthing, and how you can help the process along. It is fundamental to have a clear understanding of this so you can work with your body and be able to navigate any challenges that may come up along the way. It's also important for your birth partner to understand all of this to enable them to fully support, encourage and hold a safe, protective space for a birthing mother.
Postnatal Yoga – Bring Baby Too! (or come hands free!)
A wonderful way to bond with your baby, regain your strength, connect with others and feel great, one day at a time. These classes are specially designed to allow you to safely practice yoga with your baby by your side, or joining in. Or if you have some child care, come along and enjoy some well-deserved you time, child-free.
Classes are suitable from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth, or 8 weeks after a c-section, until your baby is on the move. As with any exercise after birth, it is always a good idea to get the all clear from your doctor before you start classes. Ask them to check whether you have Diastasis Reci (separated tummy muscles).
These classes run as a course over 6 weeks during term time. We take you through a progressive approach to help you build core strength and revitalise yourself class by class. Each term you will feel stronger and be able to do more. If you had a baby a year ago or more and never incorporated a dedicated postnatal training, you may not have fully strengthened your deepest core. This could mean you suffer with an achy lower back, particular after any other exercise or you have a little wee when you laugh, cough or sneeze... if this sounds like you, feel free to book in and come along to class soon too.
Once you have been practicing for 6-9 months, you can then progress on to our Women's Yoga or Mother's Yoga classes to continue to explore yoga, have some you time and get fitter, stronger and leaner as you sculpt your body into shape and health.
Women's or Mother's Yoga - time out for you

WiggleBums classes are carefully and creatively crafted fun & exploratory yoga, play and sensoryfor children aged 1 year to pre-schooler AND their grown ups! You'll also find classes available in nurseries and primary schools with children up to aged 12.
Going beyond regular play activities, WiggleBums encourages development and helps parents and carers connect with themselves in their roles as care-givers; enabling children to grow and their parents and carers to understand the immense power and impact our thoughts, words and behaviour have on our children. Understanding that how we think, speak and act influences our children both now and for their future is central to these fun and imaginative yoga classes for kids. Our classes help foster feelings of security, confidence and happiness throughout early life, with tremendous benefits for our children as they become teens and adults. Think of this time as critical for laying the foundations for our children’s futures.
All this is beautiful woven into the fabric of the class using yoga, story-telling, movement, music, song, interaction, inspiration and free-flow creative exploration. Following a familiar format each week, each class explores a new 'story' and new 'resource' that delights the children, and each term a new song. Children and parents are encouraged to share this experience today and love their time at class so much that often the themes and play continue for both at home!
These classes offer a supportive and nourishing space as much for parents as for little ones to enable everyone to grow to their full potential with deeper relationships and connections with each other. Book your course now!
