Yoga For Birth Workshop
3 hours · £98 per mum-to-be (birth partner included)
This is the workshop I wish every pregnant woman and her birth partner could attend. In three practical, hands-on hours, you will both leave informed, connected, calm and genuinely excited about the birth ahead ~ however it unfolds.
Drawing on 25 years of experience as a yoga teacher, doula and antenatal educator, I share the full birth preparation toolkit ~ the breathing, the movement, the partner support, the biomechanics, what to do if things stall or baby gets stuck ~ the practical part to compliment the theory you’re learning in your regular antenatal classes.
What's covered:
Releasing fears and setting positive birth intentions
Birth breathing ~ hypno-birthing inspired techniques for every stage of labour
Yoga positions and movements to support baby positioning and create pelvic space to help labour progress
Biomechanics for birth ~ what to do if labour stalls or baby feels stuck
Rebozo shawl techniques ~ deeply relaxing in pregnancy and powerful in labour
Partner support and massage ~ practical skills for birth partners to feel calm and confident too
Guided beautiful birth visualisation to close
"I would highly recommend this workshop! My partner and I really couldn't recommend it enough, especially if you're feeling a bit anxious about labour. It felt really grounding and supportive."

Clare Maddalena, LushTums Founder
I've been teaching yoga for nearly 25 years and created LushTums in 2007 after the birth of my first child — to share the practices that had personally helped me through pregnancy and birth.
I'm a Senior Yoga Teacher (SYT) registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals, a practising Doula and a FEDANT-accredited Antenatal Educator (registration number 12462). I've taught over 10,000+ hours across my career, worked with tens of thousands of women and their families, and trained over 150 LushTums teachers.
My yoga lineage runs from Bishnu Ghosh's college in Calcutta through Tony Sanchez in San Francisco, with further training in the Scaravelli-inspired tradition through Mark Acquaviva. I've studied with Peter Blackaby and John Stirk, Joanne Avison and woven in those somatic fascia practices that sit at the heart of everything I teach today.
I am inspired every day by the women who come to my classes and 1:1s. This work is my calling ~ I am very grateful I love what I do.
