As both a mum to 3 grown up boys, and an experienced midwife and a public health nurse, I understand that pregnancy, birth and motherhood is a wonder which presents both joys and challenges. I am fortunate to have discovered yoga in recent years, and have personally experienced its’ transformational effects, and I passionately believe that pregnancy yoga offers a wonderful opportunity to nurture yourself and your baby. I also am an experienced infant massage instructor. I feel privileged to be a LushTums teacher and do hope to meet you in the studio soon to share your journey.

Jaina Bhana-Mistry

Jaina is a 200HRS Registered Yoga Teacher and expert LushTums Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher & Antenatal Educator. A regular yoga practitioner herself, she qualified in 2010 with Yoga Haven and in 2016 with LushTums. Jaina is passionate about promoting the union of body and mind through each practice and by learning breathing techniques and postures to improve physical and mental well-being. Yoga is her life and she is extremely passionate about sharing all the benefits with you. Come and join Jaina at one of her classes in Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Welcome to LushTums Manchester & Cheshire

You’ll find a range of classes here to help you be healthy and fit during pregnancy, informed and prepared for birth and safe and supported as a new mother. Our teachers provide nourishing and active classes in stunning local venues. Use our timetable to pick a session time and location that suits you and then press 'Sign In' to reserve your space - bring cash along to pay your teacher directly. Be sure to arrive 5-10 mins before class to get yourself settled and so we can start on time.

New to yoga? That's ok! Classes are for complete beginners to expert yogis. Everyone is welcome. We even have some mixed gender yoga class in the area. Wear comfy clothes you can move around in, bring a bottle of water. If you have any other questions at all, get in touch.  We'd love to hear from you. Prepare for Birth Courses

Join us for our one-off intensive course (4 hours) & also shorter 2hr sessions where you can meet other expectant couples. Ideal for first time parents but also suitable for parents wishing to have a refresher. Limited space. Booking essential, book early to avoid disappointment. Check 'About Our Classes' for full info.

Mixed Gender Yoga

With Jaina - Suitable for all levels and tailored to meet your individual needs – both women and men are welcome. Classes are creative and varied using all aspects of yoga practice – leaving you feeling calm, whole & complete – ready to go back and face the world again! 

Infant Massage

With Suzanne - A beautiful way to develop your bond with your baby and learn more about your baby’s individuality and support their development. Runs as a 5 week course, upcoming course start dates; 16 October, 20 November. Book your place for either course on the timetable.
