Terms & Conditions

CLASSES & COURSES

Booking Classes

  • Please find your nearest class (location) and find the right class day and time for you. For many classes you can book in easily via the Timetable which uses a third party online booking system. If you are new to the website you will be asked to create an account. It’s quick and secure and ensures your space in our popular classes.

  • For all other classes, reserve your place by contacting your teacher directly, payment is required in advance by online banking or bring cash to class.

  • Students must arrive for class at least 10 minutes prior to the class start time. Late arrival may result in the student not being admitted into the class or your place may be given away to someone else.

  • Classes bought with any LushTums teacher/location are only redeemable with that teacher.

  • Intro Offers and Class Packages must be used before the expiry date. No roll overs.

  • Be sure to tick to receive 'emails & notifications' when you sign up, so our booking system can send you reminders on expiry dates and class changes.

  • Occasionally Pregnancy Classes in a package may be rolled over to the Postnatal Courses, on a case by case basis - please check directly with your teacher.

Cancelling Classes

  • Different teachers have different early and late cancel times, some have a 12hr cancellation policy, others 24hrs and others 48hours. In general such notice is required for cancellation of any classes you have booked on to so that someone else on the Waiting List can take the space; any missed sessions without the appropriate notice will be charged as if attended.

  • Please log into your account to cancel your own classes – LushTums and our teachers can not accept cancellations in person, via email, telephone or text - unless previously agreed with a specific teacher.

  • If you do not attend the session you booked online, your ability to book online can be suspended.

  • Teachers occasionally change at short notice; no refunds or exchanges will be given if there is a cover teacher, and the 48 hour cancellation rule still applies.

  • 5 class packages have a 6 week expiry and 10 class packages have a 3 month expiry.

  • Postnatal Yoga and Women's Yoga run as short term-time only courses - any missed classes can not be rolled over to the next term.

  • Check the Timetable for latest details or your teacher directly and be sure to use all your classes up before they expire.

Cancellation of Courses & Workshops

  • All courses - such as our Preparing For Birth Antenatal Education Course or Women’s Circle & Restorative Yoga Workshops need to be booked and paid for in full, in advance to secure your space.

  • Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the course/workshop dates can not be refunded.

  • In advance of 7 days, 50% can be refunded, within 14 days of notification of your cancelation or you can swap to an alternative course/workshop.

After School Clubs

  • If you are booking into an after school club, such as WiggleBums or WiggleKids Clubs, note all bookings and payments must be made in advance to the teacher.

  • Bank details will be confirmed following your booking for the full term.

  • No refunds are available once the booking and payment has been made, unless you can find a replacement.

By participating in any of our classes you are agreeing that you understand the following:

Starting our classes is no different to starting any other form of exercise – the same guidelines apply:

  • If you are pregnant and not used to regular exercise, then it is recommended that you move carefully and wait until after 15/16 weeks before starting class. If you have a regular practice, good sense of body awareness and/or feel safe and confident starting classes earlier than 15/16 weeks, please inform your teacher of this when booking.

  • If you are postnatal please wait until 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery or 8 weeks after a caesarian section, before you begin exercising or taking our classes again. Please ask your doctor in your postnatal check up, to see if you have diastasis recti (separated tummy muscles), SPD, hernia or any kind of prolapse and inform your teacher before booking you class.

  • If you are coming to the Women’s Yoga, Postnatal Yoga or Pregnancy Yoga please make sure you tell your teacher of any conditions, injuries, operations or medications that you take that may effect your practice. In all cases, if in doubt, please consult your doctor, midwife or healthcare professional.

  • In attendance of all classes you understand that by participating in this class you are totally responsible for yourself and if in the unlikely event of any injury of any kind, or miscarriage, the teacher of this class, nor LushTums, is not in any way responsible.

When booking you will be asked to agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

  • I agree to adhere to the LushTums cancellation policy and I understand that when I practice in class I am responsible for my own body and well-being.

  • I understand that information published on the LushTums web site is provided for the use of its visitors and I am advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur. • I agree that from time to time I may be included in photos and videos and give full permission to LushTums to use these online and in print for marketing and training purposes.

  • Students are required to give notice to LushTums of any change of home address or email address or contact phone number. Failing such notice, all communications will be assumed to have been received by the Student within five days of email sent or mailing to the last address (of either type) notified to LushTums.

  • Any marketing, educational or other materials of this nature whatsoever produced by LushTums in connection with the Classes and Services and which are made available to Students will at all times remain the property of the LushTums and will be subject to the LushTums’s copyright.

TEACHER TRAININGS

These are the boring bits that we need to honour in order to make our trainings and Teacher’s Community run smoothly. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with them. By applying for any teacher training course with LushTums you are agreeing to comply with these terms and conditions.

  • Our Teacher Trainings need to be booked and paid for in full, in advance, at least a month before the course begins with Β£400 of the course fees constituting a non-refundable deposit to secure your place.

  • The remaining payment will be made at least 4 weeks before the course commences. If there are mitigating circumstances a payment plan can be agreed separately to this.

  • If during the course, for some unforeseeable reason you cannot continue with the training, no refunds will be made.

  • Once courses commence you are required to compete all self-study components and submit your assignments by the completion date; failure to do so will result in you not receiving your certificate.

  • All training course content, video links and manuals are shared with you for your own study and reference only. These must not be shared with others, as this will constitute a breach of copyright and our agreement.

  • All work produced for assignments, exams etc must be in your own words and your own work. Any sources used must be credited accordingly.

  • Upon receiving your LushTums qualification certificate and in the event that you begin teaching, you are responsible for your own insurance, registration with FEDANT and any and all tax with HMCR as an independent sole trader.

  • Any break in your studies or teaching for more than 12 months needs to be discussed in advance and may require you to complete a low cost refresher course upon your return to teaching.

  • Copyright of all LushTums content continues to be owned by Clare Maddalena and you cannot pass this off as your own. We expect you to honour these teachings by recognising and crediting the LushTums brand name, thereby creating a standard of practice that people can rely on and trust in the pregnancy, birth and motherhood world.

  • The use of the LushTums trademark and logos is permitted on a case by case basis and can be withdrawn at any time.

  • In exceptional circumstances, on a case-by-case basis, our cancellation policies may be altered as decided by LushTums Ltd.

  • We reserve the right to update this policy at any time.
